Francesco studied Electronics Engineering at the University of Pisa and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (Pisa, Italy). Since April 2017 he is employed in the Beam Instrumentation group of CERN (Geneva) under the supervision of Dr. Christos Zamantzas, working on the mixed-signal design of precision measurement instrumentations. There he is carrying on a Ph.D. together with the University of Liverpool.

Francesco is an active music enthusiast: he got his Diploma in Piano in Italy and has gained a pluriannual experience in DJing, music production and audio engineering. Furthermore, he has acquired professional experience in analog and digital circuit design, FPGA programming for real-time signal processing, MCU firmware development, and PCB design.
