Multi-track loop stations are everywhere, yet there are scarce resources on how to build one from scratch using JUCE/C++.
The talk explains the design and implementation of a modular loop station that can record and playback MIDI notes live, on multiple tracks, at different tempos, time signatures and quantisations. Expect nested playheads, sample-accurate-timing, thread-safety, computational efficiency, and thought bloopers.
