In this talk, Don Turner and Atneya Nair will demonstrate how to build a real-time audio processing app on Android using Oboe - a C++ library for building high-performance audio apps.

The talk will cover best practices for obtaining low latency audio streams, advanced techniques for handling synchronous I/O, performing real-time signal processing, communicating with MIDI devices, obtaining optimal CPU bandwidth and ensuring your user experience is optimised for each user's Android device.
Much of the talk will be live-coded with plenty of strange sounds, musical distortion and cats.
